room comfort but building issues
The bed in my room was surprisingly comfortable! I appreciated the quick check-in service that made my arrival seamless. Found a delightful local restaurant just a short walk away, which made my evenings enjoyable and added to my experience. The outdoor area is quaint, providing a lovely ambiance upon arrival.
The building's condition left much to be desired, with visible leaks and maintenance issues.

Should you go for it? my answer
I stayed for one night in a Single Room. The highlight was the friendly staff at reception, who went above and beyond to assist. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed made for a reasonable stay, but the decor felt quite basic and outdated. If you seek simplicity, this could be just right!

The outdoor area has potential charisma with a pleasant appearance manipulating an appealing first impression. The bed offered decent comfort, albeit in a room that felt excessively basic.
The state of the building is concerning, with visible issues like a sagging ceiling on the second floor and water catching buckets due to leaks. The parking situation was dismal, forcing me to park a short walk away in a paid lot costing an extra £4. noise from rowdy guests at odd hours created a sense of insecurity, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Certain rooms had an unsettling atmosphere, with signs of long-term stays contributing to discomfort.

Found a gem with the local dining scene! Just a stone's throw away, I hit up Jurassic Grill for some lip-smacking eats and Wildwood served up delightful dishes that had me buzzing. On top of that, the WiFi actually worked well, so I could mask my hotel woes with some Netflix.
But mate, as much as I'd love to rave, the room felt like it hadn’t seen a scrub in years—stains galore and the water stayed chilly! The dodgy car park situation gave off serious unsafe vibes too, making my stay a bit stressful.
